JOHN H. JOHNSON
The John H. Johnson Education Kit charts the life and accomplishments of the man who gave Black Americans a cultural voice. Each of the eight chapters include a Teacher’s Page featuring a life-stage biography, with questions for class discussion or journaling activities, and a Student Page featuring a photojournalistic treatment of Johnson’s life during a particular time in 20th century America. Three unique and extended Lesson Plans offer engaging cross-curricular learning activities specially designed for use during Black History Month.
